Calorie Diet Intake

What is a calorie safe that does not promote starvation mode?
I am a woman 43 years old and weighs 200 pounds. I am 5 '4 "tall. For most of my life I was thin. I went to a 1200 calorie diet and use a treadmill 3 times per week at over 45 minutes each workout. Over the past two weeks, my weight loss has dropped to one pound per week and I feel more tired than usual. I think my body went into starvation mode. Any information I found said to consume calories your target weight, yet it has reduced my calorie intake to less than half my previous consumption. With avail themselves of if I continue with input 1200 calories my body will eventually start losing weight again or can I expect to continue to maintain my weight this way and stay hungry?
wont your body goes into starvation mode if you eat 4-6 meals a day. try to have protein every 3 hours. as long as you continue to eat all day, your body wont think they are hungry and you will keep your metabolism.
