I saw this answer on another thread dog, it has been ranked "Best Answer". The whole paragraph … "If he likes to chew, go buy it a raw cow's hoof, the slice of turkey or neck raw. I'm tired of saying the bones and meat flood are perfectly fine to give a dog as its a size that can not be swallowed whole. Do not cook the bones because it makes them brittle. If you doubt, ask your vet, they may have a different opinion of me or you, but if you doubt it, dont do it.
