how I can calculate the Nutrition information on food I do?

I want to write some recipies but I do not know how to compute nutitional. Where can I find some information on this topic

Hello – I agree with the answer above – is great precisely nutritiondata.com For this purpose, and you can even print "nutrition information panels" before! (It's kind of cute for parts of dinner, if your friends are sanity.) The only drawback is that it is American (but not too insular) and do not have a large range of proprietary brand name. If you use basic ingredients of this plain is not a real problem as far as the exact precision is not required (it is amazing how many regional differences, there are other sites that do something similar: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp (easier to use, better database for certain things, not so good for others) http://www.livingcookbook.com/ (I did not need to use but it seems pretty good.) http://www.batchconverter.com/ApexDietrecipeanalyzer-download-34455.shtml (this is a free program that resides on your computer (I think you need access to the Web to read the database, though) – I have not used this year and the usual caveats about the need freeware to consider. One feature that would be a good / GI rating GL – NutritionData has something close but not exact. If you use a low 3 comments can you your thoughts? Thank you.
