Have you changed your life and diet because of fibromyalgia and did that help?

I have a friend who was diagnosed with this disease and I am doing research for her. I found many things on the Internet, but will they really make a difference? This young girl (38) was concerned about their health (it is thin and keeps very active), all her life and she has a hard time now trying to hold with 4 children and dealing with this disease at the time.

I am a year 53. old male and I used to exercise and watch my weight and I kept myself in really good shape.Tens yrs. Something was happening in my body, it started in my left foot but I simply ignored it.As time passed my condition got worse so I went to see a specialist and he could not find anything wrong with me.By the time I found a doctor who could tell me what was wrong a year. happened, and now the painful spasms move my feet behind my head.She told me I had fibromyalgia. I figured the doctor gave me pain killers and a cure all pill (did not happen). I'm sorry for your friend to have this disease I would not wish this on anyone. I have yet to find something to help this problem. This changed my whole life. Have not been able to work close to 10 years. The doctor told me about pain MEDS very Stong and antidipressants. Sorry for not good news.
