conflicting reports on Tripsy for cats?

My cat has chronic renal failure. It is not symptomatic, his kidney problems were diagnosed through a blood test, we were in preparation for a tooth extraction. For 2 years now, it has been a special diet (Hills k / d) and remains symptom free as far as I can tell. I heard about this natural supplement, Tripsy at FIU. Reviews are mostly positive, but one site claims that it contains diuretics and therefore is not for the FIU. The ingredients are the following as root stone parsley Breakstone, wild hydrangea, gravel root, echinacea, marshmallow, Oregon grape, purified water, glycerin. Should I give him? If anyone has any reliable advice, I'd love to hear it. Thank you.
