Why are not protein supplements approved by the FDA?

How come when you go to sports Nutrition store like GNC almost nothing is approved by the FDA? Why is it that the regular protein supplements like muscle milk are not assessed? And how is when you look at this question on Google almost anything related happens? Are they trying to hide something from us? These products similar Protennis really work or are they simply wrong?

It comes down to money. It would be extremely costly for the FDA to do independent testing of all These supplements, which would almost certainly be passed on to consumers. Also, to evaluate supplements the FDA could be accepted a certain amount of responsibility they are not willing to accept. It is doubtful that we are trying to hide something, supplements protein are just that. They work (as I interpret what you mean "work" you mean to help put on muscle) also that you use and integrate them into your fitness routine.
