Vegetarian Nutrition

I am diabetic, vegetarian, but can not eat carbohydrates for medical reasons. How can I get enough food?
I Only eat eggs and yogurt, and I am underweight. For me, it is ethically unacceptable to take a life for my survival, and therefore am unable to eat meat. If I force myself to eat meat, wither to death, or is there other way? Would be grateful for any advice.
I guess I do not understand something here. Whay can not you eat good carbs like whole grains, fruits and vegetables? Yogurt and eggs are animal products. Why not eat fruits and vegetables?
